Compounds at U.P.M.
U.P.M. is able to manufacture standard PTFE compounds, but we are also able to produce products based on customer requirements, the application or typical market demands like chemical industry, aeronautics or nuclear. No compound challenge is too crazy for us. We would love to hear your challenges.
PTFE-Compounds
Our compound division produces over a hundred types of compounds annually, ranging from a few kilograms to several tonnes. PTFE compounds refer to materials that incorporate Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) combined with other substances, such as fillers, additives or reinforcements, to alter or enhance specific properties beyond those of pure PTFE.
These compounds are created by mixing PTFE resin with various components to achieve desired characteristics tailored to specific applications.
